In the very first episode of The Twilight Zone

In the very first episode of The Twilight Zone, the main character looks in the mirror and doesn't recognize himself. He begins to believe he is in a dream and speaks the line “you may be a piece of undigested meat…you are what I had for dinner last night”, which fits into my sleep research theory that the food you eat the previous day/night comes back to life and shares a body with you in dream state.

The guy also feels like he’s being watched and later he sees one eye looking at him from an optometrist office poster as shown in the picture in this entry. This is a clear "all seeing eye" reference, from way back in 1959.
