4/19/2017: prince street

I am looking at my Twitter feed and see a tweet from EaterNY showing pizza that seems to have little pepperoni cups on it:

I immediately am reminded of Prince St. Pizza's Pepperoni Square, which is my favorite NYC pizza slice. I even contemplate that it’s surprising to me they only have one location in the city. I'm living in Venice and haven't been to NYC in almost a year.

The image shown on the tweet is not actually Prince St., but it made me think of them (and those are little tomatoes, not pepperoni cups).

BUT, the very next time I’m on Twitter, twenty minutes later, suddenly there is tweet from Supper Club, a NATIONAL publication that has nothing to do with EaterNY (the first tweet I showed). What is the tweet about?

Prince St. Pizza Pepperoni Squares:

(Even though they don’t mention the name in the tweet, those slices are from Prince St. and the article was about them.)

I want to make it crystal clear that I only follow 14 people on Twitter currently, out of over 300 million users. The chances of the kind of things I experience happening are statistically infinitesimal and they happen at least once a day, on a regular basis.

I see a tweet that reminds me of a pizza place I enjoy and the simple act of thinking about them (not talking about them, not searching them online, etc.) changes my reality so that just minutes later THAT VERY PLACE is suddenly in a tweet from a completely different publication.

It happened on purpose. Who is making it happen?
