2/9/2015: one page
I'm sitting at my desk in my hotel working on a “One Page” document. It’s literally called that and is meant for investment meetings with prospective investors. It's a simple one page document about my music project, Shine.
A Mars Volta song has been playing on my headphones (via iTunes shuffle of over 20,000 possible songs). Suddenly I realize the song is singing “give me ONE PAGE…give me ONE PAGE!”.
Here is just that 20 second section, of what is a 12 minute long song:
This is obviously happening on purpose and is simply more proof that this place is a matrix like reality where tech is responding to what I’m doing. Obviously, the phrase “give me one page” isn’t something you’d hear in a ton of other songs, IF ANY OTHERS AT ALL:
The Mars Volta - Day Of The Baphomets
Give me one page
Give me one page
Make it blank
Mace that I leak
Will rain
Give me one page
Give me one page
Make it blank
Race I inflict
Your way
Maybe one day you'll stop and realize
The throne that you serve is dead”
Here is the email I sent my project partners, John and Bill, the moment it happened:
It’s more proof to me that music, TV, everything, is capable of morphing into something new…based on what I’m doing/thinking. Especially, when I am not super familiar with the content. I know and enjoy this Mars Volta song, but I don’t know all the lyrics, which makes it very easy for THEM/IT to change things to something completely new when I’m participating, listening, watching.
Or were the lyrics always like this and they simply timed the song to come on as I was working on the “one page”? This is a HUGE question relating to how this reality works.
